With very limited time to prepare, PAOK have already turned the page, leaving behind their remarkable European campaign and the understandable disappointment from the FIBA Europe Cup Final, and are now fully focused on the Stoiximan GBL playoffs.
PAOK take the court tomorrow afternoon (16:00) at the PAOK Sports Arena to host Peristeri Betsson in Game 1 of the series that will determine a place in the semifinals. Two wins are required to advance, and PAOK are aiming to take the first step toward qualification.
Today’s schedule began with video analysis of the opponent and continued with a practice session focused on tactics, with all players participating.
PAOK head coach Pantelis Boutskos, referring to tomorrow’s game against Peristeri and the team’s playoff effort, stated:
“We are entering a new and very demanding phase of the season against an excellent team like Peristeri. We must properly manage both our emotions and the fatigue from our European journey, and step onto the court with the highest possible motivation in order to take the first step toward qualifying for the semifinals.”
