Phil Goss talked to the Media about the Basketball Champions League playoffs game against AEK:

"I believe it's a huge opportunity for us to continue writing history for the Club. We have played against AEK so many times since the day I came to PAOK. I don't think that the game will be decided by plays or tactics but by who wants the ball more, who has the energy to control the rebounds. It's a game that professional players love to play. I believe there are going to be a lot of fans at the gym, so I'm excited about the game".

 About if the fact that it's a two leg series changes something: «Our goal is to win the game. You can't be thinking about the road game before the first one ends. We had been in a similar situation last season against Pinar Karsiyaka, we were leading by a big margin, but we lost that and we did not qualify at the end. They are going to be tough battles, but I believe we are a team that it's very hard to lose when playing at home. The goal is to win; we'll see about everything else when the time comes».

About the statements made by Howard Sant-Ross, that he's ready to stop both him as well as William Hatcher: «That's how one should be thinking. I don't care about these statements. I'm simply focused on the game. What I know is that no one player can stop us both. We'll see what happens in the game and I certainly look forward to it. I'm surprised by his statement though".

About whether he would prefer for the first game to be in Athens: «No, it's better that we play at home. Like I said before, it's difficult to beat us at home. How many times have we lost to AEK in the last couple of years? Once! I don't focus on anything else beyond the game. I'm excited, I think the same goes for our fans. I simply want to have a good practice today and tomorrow morning and concentrate on the game».

On whether he thinks about anything more beyond the games against AEK in regard to the Basketball Champions League: «I don't think about anything beyond tomorrow's game. I want us to play according to plan. We can do a good job and we want that for us and for our fans. I can't think about anything else than tomorrow's game. For us, it's a like a title deciding game, we'll be playing as if it's a final».
