PAOK completed the regular season of the Stoiximan GBL in the best possible way, defeating Maroussi Chery 101–85. Combined with the rest of the results, this secured 3rd place for PAOK—marking the first time in eight years they have finished that high.
PAOK now know their opponent in the first round of the playoffs, where they will face Peristeri in a best-of-three series, with two wins required to advance to the semifinals.
Despite the loss, Maroussi also achieved their goal, as they secured their place in the GBL, while Panionios were relegated.
PAOK took an early lead (17–10 at 6:30) and, with a three-pointer by Dimsa, reached double digits for the first time (27–17), closing the first quarter up 28–20.
Melvin extended the lead to 11 (33–22), but the visitors cut it to six midway through the second period (40–34 at 15’). With Allen scoring 11 points and hitting a basket at the buzzer, PAOK went into halftime ahead 54–46.
Maroussi applied pressure early in the third quarter, cutting the deficit to three (57–54), but PAOK responded effectively, combining efficiency with highlights. A spectacular dunk by Omoruyi pushed the lead back to 11 (69–58), and PAOK closed the quarter with a double-digit advantage (80–70).
PAOK remained in full control for the rest of the game. The lead quickly grew to 16 (88–72), and with a three-pointer by Iatridis, PAOK surpassed the 100-point mark (101–83), eventually cruising to a 101–85 victory.
