Mike Giannakidis
Mike Giannakidis was born in Thessaloniki on April 6, 1988. He started his career with the basketball team of Mandoulides Schools and then played for MENT, while in the summer of 2008 he became a member of the big PAOK family for the first time. He got unlucky though, because of a serious injury, that didn’t let him compete with our team during the 2008-09 season. However, Mike bounced back and kept wearing the black and white jersey until 2012. He was a member of the 2010-11 roster that won 3rd place in the Greek League. 
He has also played for Ikaros Kallitheas, Trikala, Koroivos Amaliadas, Kavala, Iraklis and Agrinio.
Mike Giannakidis is a two time Greek Champion with Mandoulides Schools, winning the Panhellenic School Championships (2005,2006).
He has also won second place (with Mandoulides Schools) in the World Schools Championship in Poland in 2005 and he has also won the Greek Junior Champion twice with Mandoulides Schools in Xylokastro (2003) and in Thessaloniki (2004). He was member of National Team of Greece U-16, U-18 and U-20, while in 2009 Mike won the World Military Basketball Championship playing with with Greece’s ArmyTeam in Lithuania.
He has graduated the School of Primary Education of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and owns a second category coaching diploma.
