Vangelis Margaritis noted two historical records in the game between PAOK mateco and Peristeri! Our team’s captain competed for the 251st time with PAOK jersey in a League’s game, overcoming George Βalogiannis (250th) and from now on has the first place in participation list of PAOK players, Greek professional Basket League. That means from 1992-93 and on!

That’s a magnificent performance for our captain and isn’t the only one, while he took 2 rebounds in the game against Peristeri Bwin and reached 1016. He is first too because Margaritis exceeded John Giannoulis and he is from now on, the top rebounder of PAOK mateco in Basket League the last 30 years! It is an undeniably important achievement for Margaritis, which competes for the 10th year in black and white and apparently few were the ones that waited an impressive evolution, in the beginning of his journey at 2012-13!

Despite the fact that Vangelis Margaritis is on top of the Greek professional Basket League in participations, he has the first place in other lists too that refer to PAOK history. He is 6th in ranking regarding to his participations in the history of our team from the season 1963-64, while the Greek League was established. In a list, which on top is the late John Politis with 289 participations in 14 seasons that competed with PAOK jersey .
