PAOK is closing the first round of the Basketball Champions League in the German city of Bonn against Telecom Baskets Bonn, who was also a rival team last season, but under different circumstances.
PAOK’s coach, Kostas Charalampidis, talking about tomorrow’s game, commented on the qualification game, the difficulties the team has to face, but also about the energy it will be receiving from the Greek fans.
This is what PAOK’s coach had to say before his team practice at the Telekom Dome.
«It’s the last game of the first round and a very important game for us, because this game can keep in the qualification zone. To win this game though, we need to make certain things and do them correctly. And we definitely need to remain absolutely focused throughout the game.
Bonn has made a lot of changes compared to last season, they have a different coach, but they are still a classic German team, with a lot of energy that we need to find a way to face up to. In this difficult endeavor, I’m certain that PAOK’s fans in Germany are going to be of help, like they always do. We thank them and expect for them at the gym»
