Yannick Franke started off with two three-pointers and helped PAOK mateco to lead with 8-5 in 2’. Olympiacos replied with 0-7 run (8-12) but our team had already found a solution. Saloustros and his three-pointer put PAOK mateco on top with a 8-0 run and a 16-12 lead, in the first half. The first quarter ended with Vezenkov leading Olympiacos (21-24) and in the second quarter the lead switched to Sloukas, while the gap was getting bigger (26-37 14’ and 34-51 17’30’’).
In the second half, Franke took his tally to eighteen points while the score was 47-57 in 22’ but PAOK mateco didn’t find a solution to continue the counter attack. As Olympiacos was boosting its difference by being ahead with 61-79 in the end of the third quarter, our team tried to step up in the fourth quarter with a small run. The gap have had reduced to 12 points (69-81) but in the end of the game, Olympiacos was the winner by being on top with twenty points.
